This Friday (3rd April 2009) we were booked at Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Club to play at Erika’s 21st birthday party.

It was the first time we’ve worked at Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Club and we arrived to discover that it’s a lovely place.

It’s a modern building situated in its own grounds in Chester and overlooking a pristine cricket field. The function room was on the first floor which meant extra carrying of the equipment for us, it’s a hard life sometimes!

It was an 8.30pm start and we were set up and ready to go in plenty of time. The guests started arriving and the party started hotting up. It was a young crowd so we played plenty of current chart music and some classics from days gone by.  The dancefloor was full from around 10pm until we finished at midnight, and everyone had a great time including ourselves! We handed out plenty of business cards and everyone was pleased with how the night went. Erika said she was worried about what to expect when she booked a DJ as she hadn’t booked one before but she was over the moon with our performance and said everyone had a a brilliant night. Erika’s Mum, Ruth couldn’t thank us enough and took a pile of our business cards to hand out to her friends.

With another successful gig and another happy client under our belt we left Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Club in search of the nearest kebab house!
